How we calculate
Hourly rate = annual salary ÷ (hours per week × working weeks per year). The default is 40 hours × 50 weeks (i.e., 2 weeks of PTO), which is a reasonable salaried baseline. Adjust both inputs to match your actual pattern — freelancers especially tend to under-estimate non-billable hours.
